Woman accused of taping her toddler son to wall is arrested

Police Mother taped 2-year-old to wall

With his mouth taped shut, you can hear him crying in the background as she tells her Facebook Live audience why the boy is stuck to the wall. The woman has been arrested, and her son is in the care of Children's Services for safety.

In the video the toddler can be seen restrained against the wall with clear packing tape for about 15 minutes, police confirmed. Her son was taken into custody by Franklin County Child Services.

It's unclear what day the video stream was posted on Facebook.

Rudolph offers an explanation during the video, saying, "You can't clean without them running around tearing up?" Tape them to the wall. "Now stay still. You can see the TV from right there", she is heard telling her son in the video. However, she soon after posted the second video, complaining to viewers that she had to find a new way to discipline her son.

An Ohio mother is facing a felony charge after filming a Facebook Live video of her toddler taped to the wall, authorities said Thursday.

'You can't cook or none of that because they running around?

In an encounter with a local news reporter, Shayla Rudolph's demeanor was much different than what was displayed in the Facebook Live video in which she bragged about taping her child to the wall. "They called children services on me so (expletive) now he in the corner, what you going to do?" (Expletive). I don't give a (expletive). Handcuffed and escorted by a police officer, the OH teen mom refused to answer questions and appeared to be trying to hide her face with her hair. "This time y'all can take him".
