Projected top pick prays for Cowboys trade to avoid Cleveland Browns

Projected top pick prays for Cowboys trade to avoid Cleveland Browns

Cleveland is about to have Garrett be the foundation of a rebuild, and of course as a young player, it's hard to accept the fact that you are going into a losing environment from day one.

He also told ESPN the following on Saturday: "I've already said I like the Cowboys because that's my hometown team".

Or at least Jerry Jones' intervention.

"But I want to go No. 1".

Texas A&M DE Myles Garrett may not be making too many friends in Cleveland. "Make it happen", the defensive end wrote. The whole thing got out of hand and Garret asked people to simmer down and take a joke.

Combine this, along with comments such as not wishing to play in cold weather, could cause teams such as the aforementioned Browns, Chicago Bears to reconsider him entirely. Cleveland definitely needs a quarterback, but would Tony Romo and a package of picks be enough to convince the Browns to pass up on the top edge rusher in the draft? I mean, it matters if you're the first pick or not.

Aggie Myles Garrett was in Houston Saturday night for the Rotary Lombardi Award ceremony. "I want to be the greatest player who has ever been at my position, the greatest player who has ever played".

"I'm speaking to you, Jerry", Garrett says on the video. I'll play wherever they put me.

There will be plenty of people that slam Garrett for this video, as players are supposed to simply be happy to have the opportunity to play in the National Football League, but I dig it. The Cowboys are in desperate need of a pass rusher. "Whatever it takes, I don't want to be a Cleveland Brown".
