WWE Smackdown main event (live coverage tonight)

WWE Smackdown Live Preview and schedule: April 18

NXT tag team The Bollywood Boyz debuted on the show, helping Mahal win the match by holding Sami Zayn's legs.

WWE Champion Randy Orton comes face-to-face with his new No. 1 contender before calling out Bray Wyatt ahead of their House of Horrors Match at WWE Payback.

Of course, one of the big titles could change hands at SummerSlam and the victor gets drafted to SmackDown, meaning we're only without a Champion for a few months.

Charlotte Flair def. Naomi via pinfall in a non-title match: More-than-solid first match between the two, which sets Flair up as the rightful No. 1 contender to the SmackDown women's title. The Superstars that changed from SmackDown Live to RAW and from RAW over to SmackDown Live.

She's confident she will take the title next week from Naomi. Naomi then went for another kick but she was met with a classic Flair chop.

Meanwhile, as the two former world champions are battling for a secondary title, six mid-card wrestlers are fighting to become the new number one contender to Randy Orton and the most prestigious title in the entire WWE. Mahal takes advantage to hit a Full Nelson slam on Zayn to pick up the surprising victory.

The match had also featured Sasha Banks, Nia Jax and reigning Women's Champion Bayley. The Phenomenal One has just become the number one contender for the United States title.

After being brutally attacked last week, American Alpha is out for payback against Primo & Epico Colon. This week, The Face That Runs The Place took on Corbin in a solo contest. The fight spilled to the outside and Corbin backdropped Styles into Owens.

AJ Styles def. Baron Corbin via countout: Earlier in the night, Corbin criticized Styles as an illegitimate No. 1 contender for the USA title because he did not defeat him head-to-head, setting up the match for the main event. Styles then counters the End of Days, hits a Phenomenal Forearm, and barely gets in the ring before the referee's count hits "10".
