Apple's Tim Cook insists it helps the police on terror

Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed that Apple been working with the United Kingdom authorities on their investigation into the recent London terror attacks in an interview with Bloomberg on Monday. "And I think he decided wrong".

On Thursday, President Trump announced that the United States would pull out of the Paris Agreement, a treaty created to prevent global temperatures from rising by more than 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels. He claimed this year's WWDC is the largest of the kind for the technology company. This does not include the content of messages, but the context - when they were sent, from where, and to who.

The environment wasn't the only political difference with Trump that Cook expressed during the interview.

In addition, Cook said Apple, headquartered in Cupertino, Northern California, now has 16 million registered software developers worldwide for its consumer electronics, including smartphone known as iPhone, and 3 million of them were added a year ago. Cook is said to have talked with Trump before the president's decision, urging him to keep the United States in the climate accord, which covers initiatives that look to reduce pollution and lessen the effects of climate change. "I'm doing the latter". At the event, Apple unveiled a new high-end home speaker, new operating systems for Mac, Apple Watch and iPhone, and new and refreshed hardware, including an iPad Pro, iMac Pro, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. Apple also rolled out augmented reality tools for developers, and showed off new AR features that use iPhone cameras.

The Apple CEO stated that although there is end-to-end encryption in apps such as iMessage and WhatsApp, there is a lot of information that information technology companies can share in the form of metadata.

"The area I'm personally excited about is AR", Cook said.

Cook said smartphone growth and innovation are "in the early stages". "So we don't let the impatience result in shipping something that's just not great".
