Sean Spicer Turns Down 'Dancing With the Stars' Offer

Sean Spicer will NOT be bringing his dancing talents- or lack thereof- to the

Former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer won't be joining "Dancing with the Stars" next season, reports TMZ.

TMZ reported Thursday that a source close to Spicer says he isn't interested in doing the show due to his busy fall schedule.

Obviously the entertainment value of Sean Spicer attempting in vain to learn the foxtrot-admittedly, the only dance I know the name of-would've been at an all-time, Mooch-level high.

He was spotted July 22, the day after his resignation, meeting with television executives, and he's met with talent agencies to discuss possible book deals, reported Politico.

Before it was confirmed that Spicer had turned down ABC's offer, Cheryl Burke - one of the professional dancers on Dancing With The Stars - told Vanity Fair that the show could be a good opportunity for Spicer to redeem himself in the public's eyes.

Spicer may be considering a switch to the dynamic field of television where he can share his insider knowledge of the White House.

He was seen coming out of the offices of ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox News.

Barnett was not able to be reached by Page Six and Spicer did not comment, according to the publication.

Spicer became a household name in only a few months as press secretary, his sometimes-combative style lambasted by Saturday Night Live. She also mocked him by driving a motorized version of Spicer's podium around the streets of New York City till the Trump Tower.
