Janet Jackson Gets Emotional While Singing 'What About' in Houston

American singer Janet Jackson, the youngest sibling in the musical Jackson family, got teary-eyed while singing "What About" at her recent concert in Houston.

Janet Jackson broke down in tears on stage at her concert in Houston on Saturday as she sang emotional abuse song What About.

The song that made Janet emotional is about domestic and emotional abuse, which features the lyrics: 'What about the times you lied to me? /What about the times you hit my face?

In a video posted on her Twitter account, the "Rhythm Nation" hitmaker said: "Hey you guys!"

Jackson and her businessman husband, Wissam Al Mana, split in April of this year, following five years of marriage.

Janet was also reportedly overcome with emotion on the first show of her "State of the World" tour in Louisiana last Thursday (07.09.17) when she performed the track then. On Friday, Janet was spotted with Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner as she's visiting and meeting with evacuees who were staying at the George R. Brown Convention Center. The moment came after her performance of the song "What About", from her 1997 album "The Velvet Rope".

On Wednesday, the star declared that she would be performing in Houston in spite of the destruction left in the territory by Hurricane Harvey. After her show, Toyota Centre tweeted that the "All for You" singer will donate her collections from the show to the relief efforts of the Hurricane. News that "she brought smiles and hugs", and "she seemed very touched seeing all these people sleeping on cots and her dancers were also very moved".
