North Korea's Kim Jong-Un Calls Donald Trump A 'Dotard'

US will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea says Trump at UN General Assembly

While lecturing Trump to be more prudent in selecting words when making a speech, Kim said he can not avoid thinking that the US president is "unfit to hold the prerogative of supreme command of a country".

Responding to Trump's maiden address at the United Nations on Tuesday in which he threatened to "totally destroy" North Korea if it attacked the USA or its allies, Kim Jong Un issued a rare statement on Friday describing the speech as "unprecedented rude nonsense".

"North Korea's nuclear program is a grave threat to peace and security in our world, and it is unacceptable that others financially support this criminal, rogue regime", Trump said in brief public remarks during a meeting with the leaders of South Korea and Japan to discuss strategy to confront Pyongyang. Rocket man is on a suicide mission for himself'. "I will surely and definitely tame the mentally deranged US dotard with fire".

Kim urged the president to "exercise prudence in selecting words" after Trump on Tuesday issued a harsh warning to Pyongyang.

Theresa May has raised the prospect of backing military action against North Korea as she denounced the regime for its "outrageous proliferation" of nuclear weapons.

Ri was in the "Big Apple" in order to attend the UN General Assembly.

"The United States has great strength and patience", President Trump said in the speech.

The release of Kim's statement comes after North Korea's foreign minister delivered a scornful response to Trump's threat, likening it to the sound of "a dog barking". Chinese lenders were told to fully implement the U.N.'s sanctions and were warned that failure to do so would result in financial losses and tarnished reputation.

"No matter the changes in circumstance, no matter how long it takes, not matter the difficulties we face, China will always persist in the goal of denuclearising the peninsula, in moving towards talks", he said.

Tensions have risen in recent weeks over North Korea's nuclear and ballistic missile tests, despite intense pressure from world powers.

Earlier Thursday, Trump signed an executive order that would enable the United States to sanction individual companies and institutions that finance trade with North Korea. Though the majority of North Korea's imports come from China, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin said "This action is directed at everyone" and the steps are "in no way specifically directed at China".
