Fed up 'Breaking Bad' house owner erects fence to stop pizza tosses

The owners of the

The owners are installing a 6-foot (2 metre) wrought iron fence on the front of the house used in the TV series "Breaking Bad", which has been plagued by countless fans wanting a snapshot. In the show, Walter White (Bryan Cranston) throws a pizza on the roof of his own home after getting frustrated.

Frank Sandoval, who runs Breaking Bad RV Tours in Albuquerque, has had to start policing the house himself, as fans have become increasingly more unruly and disrespectful.

"We don't want to gate ourselves in", homeowner Joanne Quintana told KOB4.

To keep people away from the Albuquerque, New Mexico home, Joanne Quintana says they have chose to install a six-foot high wrought iron fence around the perimeter.

In fact, the family who lives in the Breaking Bad house, as it's called, has lost track of the number of times the place has been vandalized. It's not just pizzas.

The show has been off the air since 2013, but apparently fans just can't get enough of the iconic home and have been tossing pizzas at it for years. Eating a pizza you paid for.

The ongoing vandalism hit a boiling point in 2015, when the show's creator, Vince Gilligan, lashed out at fans attempting to disrupt the everyday life of the elderly couple. Let me tell you: "There is nothing amusing or original or cool about throwing pizzas on this lady's roof", Gilligan said.

Speaking to KOB4, the owner's daughter Joanna Quinta said: "We feel like we can't leave because when we, do something happens and that's ridiculous".

"It's been done before, you're not the first".
