Pakistan has offered a joint probe into the recent deadly attacks in Afghanistan as talks are underway between the senior Pakistani officials and the Afghan officials in Kabul today (Saturday).

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani accused neighbouring Pakistan of failing to move against the Taliban and pledged a new security plan for Kabul after hundreds of people were killed and wounded in two deadly attacks on the capital last month.

A high-level Afghan delegation visited Pakistan earlier this week to discuss important issues of mutual interest. He also highlighted that they have shared a list of individuals who plotted recent attacks in Kabul and expects "practical steps" from Pakistan.
