OAR wins the bronze medal in mixed doubles curling

Aleksandr Krushelnitckii and Anastasia Bryzgalova Olympic athletes from Russia hug their coach Vasily Gudin after winning the bronze in mixed doubles curling

Though curling may not historically be the buzziest event in the Winter Olympics, one Russian athlete is bringing a whole lot of spotlight to the sport.

One person described her as looking like a "freaking model". It's all Anastasia Bryzgalova's fault. That's just how it goes when you're an expert in a random-ass game like curling and look like an Angelina Jolie clone. "A sport I consider about as interesting as watching paint dry suddenly has my attention!" one Twitter user wrote.

Admirers have likened her looks to Adriana Lima, Megan Fox and Angelina Jolie.

"If you see me this weekend know that I will only be talking about: 1".

She's only been curling for nine years after seeing an invitation to join a curling club at an ice sports complex in St. Petersburg. Russia's Anastasia Bryzgalova is going viral.

Don't be surprised if Russian curler Anastasia Bryzgalova gets an endorsement deal after these #Olympic games.

The 25-year-old athlete already has a world championship title to her name - she won the 2016 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship along with partner and husband Alexander Krushelnitskiy.

Although Russia is not officially competing in the Games in the wake of the nation's state-sponsored doping scandal ban.

This is the second time the team of Olympic athletes from Russia defeated the Norwegians in the Olympics - in the preliminary round, the Russians took the lead with a score of 4:3.

Anastasia Bryzgalova and Aleksandr Krushelnitckii are now technically the first-ever medal winners in mixed doubles with the new event being created for the 2018 Winter Olympics. Anastasia Bryzgalova appearing on your Cornflakes box soon?Anastasia Bryzgalova '...why decline?'
