Bargain books: Friends of Library sponsor used book sale

Brighton Library Book Sale Runs Through Sunday

The Staunton Public Library is gearing up for their annual fall book sale.

The sale begins at 10:00 a.m. each day; it continues until 8:00 p.m. tonight, until 5:00 p.m. on Friday and until 12 noon on Saturday.

In years past, the book sale was held at the mall, but with the renovations to the library, it's been more convenient to hold sales in the community room.

Thousands of items will be set up in the Yusunas Room and the Zimmerman Room in the lower level of the library, 309 Oak St.in DeKalb.

Shoppers will find lots to choose from in fiction, children's books, sci-fi and fantasy, history, biography and memoir, art, cookbooks, large print, religion, sports, crafts and more.

The Old Book Sale is located at Riverstreet Corners Shopping Center off Riverside Drive. There will also be a selection of audio books.

The Friends of the Dickinson Area Public library organized in 1984.

▫ Saturday, Oct. 13 - 9 a.m.to 6 p.m. Better books and collectibles are excluded.
